Well, I had a great visit with my friend Zouave yesterday. We met at around 3pm and went to lunch. Then we went to the park and talked until about 8:30pm. We had alot of catching up to do. It was good to see him again and to hear his voice again. I could see that the past two years have been hard on him. I'm sorry for that. But, in many ways time heals. I hope that we can do more together in the future to rekindle the friendship we once had.

Some bad news though. Zouave lives with my other former friend Bear and he told me alot about his current mindset. I fear that I can never salvage that relationship, which is too bad. I really liked being around Bear. But as Zouave said Bear has other friends he is content with so why bother with me. Oh well, I guess it's what I deserve. Maybe sometime later I'll expalin why I scorned Bear so much in the past.

Going back to Zouave... he was excited about the prospect of getting in on an internet business with me. I'm convinced now more than ever that it would work. I just need to find a source of capitol. I have some ideas... more on that later.

Well, today I finally got a check from the insurance company. It's about time because I'm behind on my bills. I think those bastards are playing a game with me. My check was held up in Mordor for two days. Mail normally gets here from there in one day. hmmmmm

Also, I spoke to my lawyer today. I guess my former employer wants me to go back to work on modified duty. HA! I know what that is... They want to give me the crappiest job they can so that I'll quit. Frankly, the thought of returning to Mordor without my family and dealing with their BS politics is rather repugnant to me. I think I'll save them the trouble and refuse to go back. If I'm cleared for work I'll just find a job here. Maybe I'll get back into radio. :-)

Some good news... my friend/hero finally found a house, and it's here in town. I'm so happy for him because he gets to keep his dogs. He really is a good guy. I wish the best for him and pray for him. I figure he paid his dues in Vietnam and so he shouldn't have to put up with this kind of BS. Unfortunately, this world doesn't seem to agree with me.

Well, my daughter had her first Softball practice today. She did pretty good. Gave a great effort. I can tell she was nervous. It reflected in what she did. The coach had her bat and she forgot everyting I taught her. She hit a couple but, she needs to improve. Her worst area right now is her throwing.

Speaking of softball. My oldest daughter is now interested in playing. I talked with the coach and he'd let her on the team. So, I have to run through the paperwork hurdles to get her enrolled. She's worth it though. I'm glad to see she's taking an interest in something.

I got the final miniature for my second Iron Warriors Havok squad today. I spent all day painting. Soon I will have both squads painted and I can move on and order my Iron Warriors troops. Games Workshop says they won't come out till mid April. But, I want to preorder them so I can get started right away. 40 minis is alot to paint. Oh, about my Cultists. I decided to keep them with the light gray clothing. It makes them look as though they are wearing tattered and dirty clothing.

One thing about yesterday's doctor visit I forgot to mention. He said I can start doing soem exercises again. YES!!! I can start doing curls again.

Lastly, tommorrow I meet an old friend for lunch. I haven't seen him for over two years. I'm looking forward to it.

Went to see the doctor today, this time a specialist. He said my shoulder hurts because of a muscle impingment. I have to do physical therapy and get another MRI. Eventually, I may have to get a cortizone shot or surgery. He said about half his patients recover fully. But, because I've gone 6 months without treatment I stand a worse than usual chance. If it ends up that I can't recover fully because of waiting for the insurance company, I will sue their asses off. It remains to be seen I guess.

One of the major distributors for my game store proposed a plan today to get my project off the ground. I have to come up with 2K to start selling on the Internet. It looks like a good idea and I'll likely go for it. I already have a great plan for selling products on Ebay. Now I jsut need 2K. :-)

Speaking of Ebay, I totalled the auctions I've won so far and I need to come up with $150 dollars. Doh!! No more bidding for a while.

I took the kids to the lake today. Had a great time, I showed them how to sneak through the woods. Also, my two oldest daughters got to drive the car. They didn't do too bad.

Finally, I found out last night that my sister is having another baby. My dad said she's trying to catch up with me. She has 2 with one on the way and I have 6. I don't think so.

I hate the Insurance Company!!! They sent me a letter today informing me of a cash alotment I'm to receive. However, the check has been sent to my old employer. That's back in Mordor over 300 miles away!!! GRRRRRRR!!! I need the money!! I guess they'll find any way they can to mess with me.

I went to go see Panic Room today... It was not a bad movie, fairly suspenseful... But, a bit predictable at times.

Another friend in Mordor called and offered to give me a speed boat with two motors, I just have to go get it. Apparently, it's mostly rebuilt but needs some more work. Nothing major just a little fiberglassing. I'm gonna talk to my Dad and see if he wants to help me with it. My Dad loves free things so he may jump at the chance.

The weather here has been awesome. It's really starting to warm up and the trees are starting to bloom. I saw my first potato bug of the year last night. I really feel at home.
