I took another one of Momoka's crazy tests. I like the results of this one though.

I'm a Lion!

For you, simplicity is the name of the game -

even your fur is uncomplicated. You're always looking for

an opportunity to relax, and you shy away from anything

that seems to be more than you can handle. Still, you can

really do whatever you want... After all, you're a lion!

Also took another goofy test. Here's the results:

DisorderRating
Paranoid:Low
Schizoid:Low
Schizotypal:Moderate
Antisocial:High
Borderline:Moderate
Histrionic:Moderate
Narcissistic:Moderate
Avoidant:Low
Dependent:High
Obsessive-Compulsive:Low

Well, my daughter's team finally lost a softball game. Unfortunately, it was in their first game of the tournament and not in regular season. They played a team that they had already beat twice. But, the girls were just totally off and lost by 4 runs. I am proud to say that my daughter was one of only 3 girls that actually hit the ball during the whole game. I'm proud of her for her effort and strength in hard times. The loss I think was good for her team because they played the second game of the tournament this afternoon and won. It was quite a spirited game!! Again my daughter hit the ball in the outfield and brought in a couple runs. Tommorrow morning they play another game and I'm looking forward to it.

This morning I went to witness the ongoing trial of my Armenian friend. The more I learn, the more I realize and believe that these charges brought against him are totally bogus. I think the DA's office is pursuing the case because he is a Police Officer and they want a feather in their hat for the coming election. I think it's going to backfire on them. On Monday the jury goes into deliberations. I think he'll be vindicated.

Jerkous was supposed to come over here this weekend but his motorcycle broke down. I think he melted another piston like he did a year ago. The bonehead put a hotshot ignition system on an older bike and I think it's too much for it to handle. I hope he gets smart sooner than later. I also hope he still comes over this weekend. It'll be good to see him.

The Boy and I took a walk today along the old trail where we ran into a bear a few weeks back. I could see signs that a bear lived there. It was certainly his territory. But, I saw no bear, thank heavens. The place he was "guarding" was the downstream end to a place called box canyon. I had always wanted to find this place so I can know what the river looks like below the dam. I've been doing some historical research on this area. About 110 years ago it was the site of a timber cutting operation. A large mill was located at a loop in the railroad tracks called Cantera. Apparently, loggers used an ingenious cable tram system to haul the logs down the hill to the mill. I think that homestead I found a couple weeks ago was the site of one of these cable trams. It is exciting to me to find old historic sites that no one knows anything about.

We had a our first BBQ of the season here at the house today. We bought a small cooker that can double as a fireplace. I had been BBQing with propane so long that I forgot how god charcoal makes food taste(don't tell Hank Hill). While we were cooking the girls were playing softball in the yard. Unfortunately, my third daughter got hit in the face and my wife had to take her to the hospital. I doubt whether her nose is broken. But, we wanted to make sure she was okay.

Lately, I've been having a hard time dealing with my frustration over things. It seems like just about everything gets on my nerves. I think I've been taking this out on the kids some. I kinda noticed today that everyone is tip toeing around me. I don't like that. I have to get my frustration under control. I guess I'm just wound up over my shoulder injury. I just want this whole thing to be over with and to get on with my life. My physical therapy today really hurt, and I'm tired of hoping for results. Don't get me wrong... I have made progress. But, lately it just seems like I'm spinning my wheels.

Today I got to help an Armenian friend of mine with ongoing legal troubles. He goes to trial this week and he needed me to serve papers on several people in town. It went well, I'm glad to help him out in any way I can.

I went to the Dentist today to get a refill on antibiotics for my tooth. He took an Xray and said my infection has spread and the tooth needs to be pulled. So, tommorrow I get it yanked. It'll be good to get the thing taken care of. But, I'll be sorry to lose the tooth. If only the insurance company would have paid for the root canal when I first requested it done.

Played another game of 40K with my wife last night. The first game I got lucky and destroyed the character holding the webway portal in the first round. So, she lost access to half of her army. We started over and she played tyranids. Wow, I was really nervous seeing all those models. The game was a sabotage mission so I only had half my army on the board at the start. Fortunately, my heavy bolters did their work well and I was able to stop her from destroying the objective. My darling said she wants to develope her Dark Eldar army better. I agree, with more raiders and wyches she'll be able to walk over me at least half the time.

Well, yesterday I bit the bullet and went to go see "Attack of the Clones" again. Perhaps I was a little hard on it the first time around. The Yoda thing was tolerable, and the whole love story part was essential to the story line. However, I still can't abide by the idiotic scenes they put C3PO through on Geonosis. It just jumped out of the Star Wars genre and became mindless comic relief. For true fans Star Wars is something to be taken seriously. That scene was just stupid and served to cater to a young "cartoon and video game" audience. My question for Mr Lucas is, how come every other time C3PO falls over he comes to pieces? But, he gets pushed off a ledge and he's alright. Also, in Episode V he losses his head and shuts down. But, this time he is still awake as a disembodied head. I know I'm brooding too much over this. But, I've waited 20 years to see the whole story and I find it's full of crappy comic relief.

Oh, one more thing... I managed to get out of going on the 4X4 excursion with my Dad. My wife has to work that weekend so she needs me to watch the kids. Perhaps this will be a sign to my Dad that I won't go anywhere without them.
