Hallow's Eve

Dressing up in costumes and collecting candy. How shallow are we that we can only associate a holiday by the activities we enjoy. Our "scientific" and empirical minds have completely dismissed the deeper purpose of such an observance.

My question is why even continue with the practice? Because it's fun?

If so, then we are as superficial and relevant as the leaves blowing on the fall winds, and we do not deserve to be accounted amongst the great societies of history.
